Selena Gomez featured in the new issue of Vanity Fair! Sel said: ‘You have no idea how excited I am. This is my first Vanity Fair shoot and I worship the magazine!’ She loves solitude, painting & reading: ‘I’m reading The Bad Seed right now. Well, I’m not sure if I should say it. It’s about a child who’s a murderer.’
Her celebrity crush? ‘I am obsessed with Shia LaBeouf. He’s gorgeous and he’s a phenomenal actor. I haven’t met him, I think I’d have a heart attack if I did. I’ll wait till I’m older so that I can work with him. Maybe I’ll have calmed down by then.‘
Selena Gomez has signed with UK record label Fascination Records, to handle distribution in the UK. Selena joins Girls Aloud, The Saturdays, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Miley Cyrus, Jonas Brothers & Demi Lovato at Fascination. The label posted on its Twitter: ‘Fresh for this year, welcome to the Fascination Family – Selena Gomez! More news soon!’
Selena Gomez shows off her pearly whites as she sits down on the Wizards set for an interview with LA Fusion earlier this month.
The 17-year-old actress joked with the hostess about her most recent day off. Selena shared, “I had a day off and I went to Marina del Rey. I went jet-skiing for two hours. It was amazing, but I’m paying for it now. I’m sore and my back is killing me (laughs).”
Sel also shared about being named after slain singer, Selena Quintanilla, saying, “Texas as a state is very proud of Selena. My dad and family loved her. So when my mother got pregnant with me, he wanted to name me Selena, after her. As I got older and could understand why I was named after her, I went to go visit her grave and where she used to perform.”
